The Austin Wranglers Foundation encourages positive lifestyle choices for Central Texas youth and encourages: Physical Health through fitness and nutrition, Mental Health through reading and improved high school graduation rates and Life Choices by encouraging drug and alcohol prevention and community service.

Austin Wranglers Foundation Board Members include Theresa Alvarez, Nyle Maxwell, Doug MacGregor, Thomas Henderson, Raul Alvarez and Will Wynn.

On February 9, 2008, the Austin Wranglers Foundation, in partnership with Central Texas businesses and media partners, held the second annual Lone Star Arena Football Classic. The event, which is truly a celebration of football in Central Texas, honors football players selected from 52 Central Texas high schools; as well as cheerleaders, dance teams, bands, trainers, coaches and the parents that have helped to make football the lifeblood of our community.

Players from 30 high schools participated in the game which was won by the North (2-0) with a score of North 40, South 23. Proceeds from the Lone Star Arena Football Classic will be put towards enrolling children of Central Texas Military families in organized sports.
